1. What are the differences of computer software and hardware? Cite some examples.

- The computer software is a term used for a set of code and instructions that tell a computer including hardware as to how to perform some task of a computer system.Unlike hardware, you can not usually touch and see the computer software. However, you may be able to read the set of instructions. For example microsoft word. But the computer hardware is a term used for physical devices that you are able to touch and see.For example, the monitor, keyboard and mouse.These devices are actually able to see and touch.

2. What is the importance of a motherboard in a computer system?

- The motherboard is a important piece of equipment in computer system because it is the most complicated. The motherboard also acts as a skeleton upon which your computer is built. It connect also to your processor, memory, USB, mouse and keyboards.It is extremely important to know both who made your motherboard, and some other specific information about it.

3. List some of the advantage and disadvantages of an Open-Source Software?

- These are the advantages of open source software    - It is a software that is definitely free.    - It is continously evolving and upgrading the system    - Open source has no limitations.    - Open source software allows adaptation of business requirements - These are the disadvantages of open source software    - It doesnt have single source for the system    - Acquisition of business logistics of the people    - Assuming ownership of the user    - Not a user friendly system.

4. Explain the function of the Power Supply Unit in computers.

- The power supply unit simply powers the various parts of a desktop computer. You could think of it as a surge protector for your computer, allowing you to plug everything you need power into it, instead of into individual power plugs, so you only have one power cord coming from the back of a computer, instead over a dozen.

5. What is Data Processing and how does this apply in Nursing Informatics?

- The data processing is the process of putting information into a computer so that the computer can organize it, change its form. Nursing informatics can be applied to model the human processing of data, information, and knowledge within a computer system in order to automate the processing of nursing data to information and the transformation of nursing information to nursing knowledge.
